Hello Danilo,
Can I please get some clarification about your questions?
1. What do you mean about a cloud environment? Like connected to the internet? This does not exist in the demo but it could certainly be added if a wifi connection is added to the demo.
2. The fall detection is currently performed in the PC application, so additional algorithms can easily be added. Depending on the motion type desired, this could be possible, what types of movement are desired?
3. The GUI has the ability to save the pointcloud and tracking data for each frame. This could be easily modified to save the fall events with a timestamp in a log. But this is not currently included in the demo.
4. I am not aware of any studies using mmWave fall detection.

Hello Jackson,
Is the hardware to do wifi built in to the IWR6843ISK or does that require an additional part? We would be looking to connect to the Google Cloud. Is there a TI API for such communication?
How many instances of the IWR6843ISK can run on a PC?
Does TI have developers that could help us customize a solution?
Is there someone at TI that manages pilot studies of technology for medical applications?

Brian
Hi Brian,

Wi-Fi is not built into IWR6843ISK. However IWR6843ISK can be connected to MMWAVEICBOOST and then to any launchpad of Wi-Fi or other connectivity devices to enable a platform for cloud connectivity. CC32xx Wi-Fi launchpads do provide the required APIs to connect to different cloud platforms.
How many instances of the IWR6843ISK can run on a PC?
This may depend on the demo application that you are intending to run. However this use case is not tested by us. Is there a specific application that the customer needs to connect more than one IWR6843ISK boards?
Does TI have developers that could help us customize a solution?
The general approach is to provide reference applications around the devices and EVMs (through TI designs etc). The customers are encouraged to develop their own applications based on these examples.
Is there someone at TI that manages pilot studies of technology for medical applications?
The question seems to be a bit broad. Please reach out to the regional sales for more details on this
