PGA900: Lower power mode available?

Part Number: PGA900

Hi,

I am currently using the PGA900 in a design and was wondering if there was some low power mode available on this device. As an  example, what i am looking for is some thing similar to the functionality of the  NXP K32L2B micro (which is also a M0+ core) where we can enter and exit (wake-up from)  through a UART command, allowing us to shut off the microcontroller portion in order to reduce the current draw when needed.

Thanks,

Jose

  • Hi Jose,

The implementation of the Cortex M0 in the PGA900 does not allow for a sleep mode with a wakeup command. The lowest power mode available for the PGA900 would be to disable all of the analog functions, but would still leave the M0 running.

    Regards,
