AWR2243: CSI packet information

Hi Experts,

My customer is building cascade radar board with AWR2243 by themselves.

In the AWR2243 datasheet, section "9.4.1 A2D Data Format Over CSI2 Interface", CSI2 format (frame, chirp, data timing, etc) is written. They would like to use CSI packet information such as FS, LS, etc to synchronize frame/chirp. Could you please share the detailed timing?

Hello Ken,

All the related information is present in either the device datasheet or the Technical Reference Manual. I can still check internally if there's anything more to the present information.

Basically the receiver can keep count of the number of frames it receives based on the frame start and frame end packets it gets over the CSI interface.

Hello Ken,

The CSI protocol and timing followed is as per the MIPI standard. The customer can refer to the MIPI specifications to get details. I am attaching a low level protocol diagram from the MIPI spec below. We follow the same Frame start/end , Line start/end.
