MMWCAS-RF-EVM: TIDEP-01012: Antenna Pattern Inquiry

Dear TI Experts,

Good day.

For this EVM, kindly tell us the "absolute" position with respect to the board/TX/RX antennas positions. I only see "relative" positions of the virtual antennas in lambda based on the existing documents I have:

"User Guide" of the "AWRx Cascaded Radar RF Evaluation Module (MMWCAS-RF-EVM)"

What would be correct and where would be the center of the TX/RX pair?

Hello Jonard,

The complete layout file is available as part of the EVM database. You can get the exact locations you are looking for from the layout file (its in Altium tool format)

Hello Jonard,

The absolute position of the antennas do not matter, the relative position is what is important for the processing. But if you do need the absolute location, the complete layout file is available in the PCB design database. The .PcbDoc file in the database is the layout file. You can measure the required distances in this layout file.
