DRV5013-Q1: EMC test report

Part Number: DRV5013-Q1

Hi Team,

Customer sees in the datasheet that the ESD protection of DRV5013-Q1 is only ±2.5KV. He would like to know:

  1. whether it can withstand contact discharge ±8KV
  2. Can it withstand a 5B load dump test
  3. need EMC test report

    Hey Annie,

    Thanks for reaching out on the forum.  By contact discharge test I presume your customer was wanting a specs for system level ESD tests according to the standard IEC 61000-4-2.  As for the load dump, I presume your customer needs the device to conform to  ISO-16750-2.  I consulted with my colleagues on these specs and unfortunately we presently have not subjected the DRV5013-Q1 to these particular tests.  Therefore we cannot confirm whether they will pass or not.  As for the EMC test report we also do not have that.  However, we also are not aware of any particular EMC issues with this device.
