Hi,

We are building an ADAS system using AWR1642BOOST EVM, initially we have used MMWAVE DEMO VISUALIZER to configure Maximum Range to 50 Meters.

Can you please let me know, if we can configure to Range Resolution (using MMWAVE demo visualizer) and still have the range of 50 meters.

Hello Guru,

There are limitations associated with each of the setting (be it "Best Range" or "Best Range Resolution"). The limits corresponding to each of the setting are indicated in the mmWave Visualizer Tool.

As I can see, according to the tool, the best range resolution corresponding to 50m is 0.061m. Having a finer resolution will decrease the maximum range by some bit.

I will test the best range resolution with 50 meters range and get back to you with the results.
