Hello, I am running two LDC1101's with independent and small coils that are relatively close to one another (~6mm trapezoidal coils that are about 8mm apart). My targets are 1oz etched copper PCB material.
With independent sensors running I am getting solid sinusoidal signals as expected, but with both sensors running there is an artifact at each inflection point where I believe the frequencies of both sensors are matched and interfering with one another.
Are there good approaches to dealing with this problem? It's occurred to me that I could try bumping one of sensors into a completely different resonant frequency range with a different cap/ I've also noticed that the problem becomes much worse with larger axial target distances (right now the target and sensor PCBs are essentially touching).
Thanks for your time,
Dave
