IWR1843BOOST: False detection

Hello,

I have several radars (IWR1843BOOST, IWR1443BOOST, IWR6843AOP (ES2.0 and ES1.0), IWR6843ISK) and they all detect a non-existent object. The radar is located at a height of 1.15 m.

Why is this happening? What can I do to rule out this false detection? I tried to change the parameters of the CFAR.

No, that's another question. This effect occurs at a specific location. Elsewhere, this effect is not observed.

Aleksey,

The environment may play an effect here, causing a reflection. If you try the sensor outdoors and it disappears, then something in your indoor environment may be having an effect.

If the point persists outdoors as well, then the steps discussed in the previous thread will apply here.

This effect for different radars occurs in different places at different distances. In other places, this effect is not observed. I think, as you do, that the environment can cause this effect, but I can't figure out why. Maybe there are any parameters that I can change to eliminate this effect? Is it possible to completely get rid of false detections? Can you recommend a build-in radar filter or post-processing source code for a computer that will filter out false objects? Yes I have viewed your doc. You have not changed the compRangeBiasAndRxChanPhase command. Please follow section 6.8 in the mmWave SDK user's guide.
