I can confirm that with a new CCS installation in a new and clean environment, while importing from Tirex without any modifications the same errors occurs on the DSS and MSS.

Hi Jackson,

As I mentioned before, I did use the output .bin file located in the CCS debug workspace to run this demo. But when I checked it in Tera Term I didn't see any data coming out throughout the UART data port. Also, the UART CLI port is not accessible to the mmwave commands.

What is the CCS debug output if you run in debug mode? It sounds like the sensor might not be starting since there is no UART output. Please run through the code in debug mode and see if it reaches an error anywhere.

Also, how did you implement the hard coded config? Did you use the CLI task to load them or did you add them somewhere else?

I meant that I used the .bin file from the CCS directory after it created when rebuilding the project: >>workspace_v10\3D_people_count_68xx_mss\Debug
As for implemented the hard-coded configuration, I followed JohnH instructions from the following thread:

Hi Avi,

That is probably the best HCC option. But I do suggest you run in CCS debug mode since you have made some changes to make sure the sensor is starting properly. Please see if you can follow any errors in debug mode to start the sensor.

We are not using the EVM, so I can't run the CCS debug mode.

Hello Avi,

So you do not have the XDS chip on your custom board? Or are you using the IWR6843ISK without the IC Boost board? If you are making code modifications I highly suggest you include support for debugging. This can be done with our MMWAVEICBOOST EVM or with a standalone XDS debugger to connect directly to JTAG.

Have you been able to load the unmodified program and start the sensor with CLI commands over UART? If this is custom hardware this will be best to check. Beyond that, I don't have many suggestions without debug capability.
