AWR1843: transmit/receive only mode

Good day.

Our customer recently bought a couple of AWR1843 and wants to verify if he can run these systems in transmit-only or receive-only mode? Can this be done with the GUI?

It is possible to do it using mmWave Studio GUI configuration

Apologies for the late reply for I was awaiting customer feedback.

You mean, the unit can only be placed in full radar mode and customer cannot just run the transmitter or receiver separately? They wanted to know the instructions for setting up the power our/sensitivity levels?

The Transmitter and receiver can be turned on separately using mmWave Studio Configuration.

The transmitted power can be modified also from the configuration
