AWR1843BOOST: Why is a reboot necessary before load a new configuration in the demo visualizer?

Hi, sometimes when I try to load a new config from the demo visualizer I get this message:

Why do I need a reboot? is this a limitation of the demo visualizer or always is necessary a reboot before load a new config? I am trying to do a runtime configuration so I don`t know if I should reset the board before reconfiguring it

Hi,

If you refer to the mmWave SDK users guide (http://software-dl.ti.com/ra-processors/esd/MMWAVE-SDK/latest/exports/mmwave_sdk_user_guide.pdf) section titled
"Configuration (.cfg) File Format" you will see that most commands specify whether they require a reset to occur. Many of these commands can be done without a full reset (can be done after sending a sensorStop command) but some are writing to areas that cannot be reconfigured easily. Let me know if you need any further detail on these, or whether this information is sufficient.

Hi,

Each of those commands has its own function in the code, so I understand that even if I do not send the command via terminal but I use the associated function to that command, a reset is required
