Biometric Steering Wheel Reference Design-TIDA-00292

I need this solution to integrate into steering wheel application, please share me the supplier.

  • Qingshan, hello and good day.  This particular design is quite old and has been obsoleted for some time.  We will forward the request to original owning design team such that maybe someone can advise on the supplier we used for build the design initially for test.

    Best Regards, John

  • Hello Qingshan,

As John mentioned, this design is obsolete and was used as a reference design, never sold as a product.

And to clarify, when you ask about the supplier, are you asking about the entire board, or a specific component in the design?

    Thank you,

    ~Leonard

  • Hello John,

            Thanks for feedback.

  • Hello Leonard,

            Thanks for feedback.

I found this solution and download reference design documents from the website.

We are looking for supplier, that can provide the solution and relevant part(Sensors, boards). We are working on one creative project for automotive joint venture OEM.

Do you know some company that using this reference design for products?

    Thank you.

    Good Day!

  • Hello Qingshan,

We don’t have a supplier for this reference design. It was built in-house as a proof of concept.

There were 2 components to this reference design: the steering wheel and its related mechanical design and the electronics (PCB).

The mechanical components were 3D printed and assembled in-house.

You can use any standard PCB manufacturer to build the boards.

It seems like you have all the required files to build this.

  • Hello Praveen,

          Thanks for you reply.

I just found the hardware design documents, I still need the reference source code and mechanical electro-pad design informaiton.

    Thanks
