AWR1843BOOST: Matlab GUI shows unreasonable detection in lab0008 Automated Parking

Hello,

This figures indicates the view on front of radar and Matlab visualizer,

In Matlab visualizer, it appears on left a red cluster close to the radar in rarely cases, it disappears when I move the radar slightly, I tried to relate the objects in the scene to the red cluster but nothing within 0.5 meter of radar can be detectable

Hi,

Based on this information it is very difficult to say where this reflection is coming from.

What is the elevation of the detection?

Hello Cesar,

Elevation is -+15 degree as default in this application, I didn't modify it.

What is the elevation (z) value of the detected point?

Hello,

I didn't have a chance to replay the test in the same environment, but it around 0.1 m in Z with reference to Automated Parking Matlab visualizer.

This behavior could be explained by multi path reflections.

It is highly dependent on the environment, position, and objects around
