MMWCAS-DSP-EVM: SD Boot issue

Dear TI team,

I am using the board MMWCAS-DSP-EVM (with the MMWCAS-RF-EVM) since several months ago without any problem.

I am using the HW in 2 ways :

the way N°1: mmWave version : mmwave_studio_03_00_00_14 Firmware version: sdimage_3_7_1.img.xz. the S4 switch is setup to 110000

the way N°2: SDK: PROCESSOR_SDK_VISION_03_08_00_00 the SDK code is adapted to AWR2243 and is running correctly since 4 months ago.

I think it is not a SW or FW issue. I think that the SD card reader is down and is not able to boot the SD card again.

please find attached the serial log obtained when I try to run the evaluation module.

Have you tried re-formatting your SD card or used another one? Or maybe the binary file is somehow corrupted. You can download the pre-built binary again.

Hi Stanley,

yes i had tried to re-format the SD card many times…result: the same issue.

by the way, we had ordered a new board (same model) and the SD CARD is running correctly with the new one. That’s why I said before that i think it is not a SW or FW issue. Do you agree?
