How can I convert the raw data collected from AWR1642BOOST+DCA1000 into point cloud data?

Or I can get point cloud data in other ways？

Hi,

If you are interested in the point cloud generated by the mmWave SDK oob demo, the Visualizer GUI has the capability to save the point cloud data to .dat file.

A member of the forum community has provided in the past a python script to parse this file.

Please make sure that you use the same SDK version/Visualizer this script was written for

Hi Cesar,

Thanks for your reply. I used uniflash to flash the file

C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_02_00_00_04\packages\ti\demo\xwr16xx\mmw\xwr16xx_mmw_demo.bin

Can I save the point cloud data using mmwave studio?

The point cloud data is like this ,right?

The mmWave Visualizer has an option to save the point cloud

See in PLOT window, RECORD START

This will save the data that is sent to the PC to a .dat file
