Hello There,

Lab Used : "Long Range People Detection"

Chirp config : "people_detection_and_tracking_100m_2D_advanced.cfg"

I am planning to use multiple sensors in a large room to count and track the people.

Is there any significant interference and performance degradation occur because of multiple sensors in same area??

Hi,

Can you please let me know how you would like to use the sensors? Wall mounted or ceiling mounted or any other configuration?

The above are the depicted configurations of sensor positioning (Top View).

The sensors are placed on the perimeter wall.

Distance between the two nodes is 50 meters.

Thanks for the information! What is the detection range that you want to configure? Also specify the angle at which these sensors are mounted?

I am just asking is there any possible interference when using multiple devices.

By the way, detection Range is 100m and mounting angle is 2 degree.

Hi,

In general there should be no issue as the sensors are not facing each other and the distance is about 50m. Also the clocks may not be synchronized for the chirp configuration. Also if using different chirp profiles there should not be an issue as well.
