Hi,

If I put the whiteboard below 15 meters away from mmwcas-rf-evm in an open environment, can I get the shape of the whiteboard through the point cloud?

Unfortunately we have not performed this type of experiments.

We recommend you capture raw data and take a look at the heatmap

How can I configure the parameters to get the effect in the video? https://training.ti.com/build-cascaded-radar-using-tis-mmwave-sensors When I used the example of 4chip_cascade_MIMO_example, a lot of noise appeared, and the points behind the wall could be scanned.

Hi,

The performance will depend on the environment. If there is a lot of clutter in the environment, there will be many reflections.

If you are trying to detect static objects than the radar will not be able to make the difference if a reflection is from clutter or from desired objects.

Post processing must be applied to remove for example points outside a [min, max] coordinate window.

Hi Cesar,

When I do experiments outdoors, the environment is relatively empty and there are many noise points. What is the reason?

I have done cascade_MIMO_antennaCalib.m using a corner reflector.

I think that at 30m the reflections are from the car and at 50m from the trees behind.
