I'm using the IWR6843ISK radar board along with the DCA1000 acquisition board. I'm performing acquisition using mmWave Studio 02.01.01.00. All is fine, and I'm able to save and display the data. I'd like to process the data by myself in Matlab. I was able to parse the data but I'm having difficulties to match the data of the 1D FFT profile per chirp (dBFS) displayed in mmWave Studio. I'm looking for is some details on the actual mathematics for the normalization to full scale of the ADC samples, filtering (Hanning by default) and data plotting. I'm guessing that some averaging is done as well. Could you please provide some information on these points ? At the bottom of page 4 of the SWRA581B application report (Revised October 2018), it is mentioned that a capture_demo.m file is available in the SDK tool, but I can't find it. Could you please share this file ?
