The new mmWave Industrial Toolbox Version 4.8.0 is now live on TIREX. This package includes both new content and updates to existing material. The full release notes can be found below.

New and Updated Features

Labs

Labs Landing Page

The following Labs have been updated in this toolbox:

o    New Lab demonstrating low power capabilities on the xWR6843/xWR6443 devices.

o    Lab is modification of 68xx Out-of-Box Demo - HWA version, but the included low power functions can be used in any xWR6843/xWR6443 project.

o    Both 14xx and 68xx versions of the lab have been updated with multiple object detection feature.

o    Added a rectangular bubble shape.

o    Users can switch between rectangular or circular safety bubble. User can also specify dimensions of the rectangular bubble.

o    Update Matlab GUI to include support for multi-profile cfg files.

Experiments

Experiments Landing Page

The following Experiments have been updated in this toolbox:

o    Experiment showcasing IWR6843AoP capability to count and track people in a user-defined space or setting.

o    Experiment uses Overhead 3D People Counting Demo as an example.

o    Experiment comparing IWR6843 radar sensor to a similarly priced lidar sensor.

o    Experiment uses the Autonomous Robotics with ROS Lab.

o    Minor updates

Tools

The following Tools have been updated in this toolbox:

o    Python-based tool to send Out-of-Box Demo data to another LAN-connected computer.

Certification

o    Allows adjustment of RTRIM value for mmWave Devices.

o    Includes modified version of 68xx Out-of-Box Demo - AOP version, but can be applied to any other mmWave project.

o    The tool is located in the Certification section of the Industrial Toolbox.
