HDC2022: output temperature data is offset when used outdoors

Part Number: HDC2022
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM20

Dear Specialists,

My customer is evaluating HDC2022 and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

---

We use HDC2022 to measure the temperature and humidity of the atmosphere.

Only when used outdoors, a value 1-2 ° C higher than the reference temperature measured under the same conditions and environment is measured.

Is it possible to exhibit such characteristics due to the influence of solar radiation?

In that case, does it always show a higher value (1-2 ° C)?

In case of another product(LM20)  have described their effect on light properties.

Is there any other reason?

We have already referred to the application notes, etc., and tried several times while observing the mounting method (board thickness, mounting pattern, sunshade, ventilation, etc.).

But there is no change in the measured temperature value.

---

I appreciate your great help in advance.

Best regards,

Shinichi
