As the world moves from ICE vehicles to EVs, how will certain MEMS sensors be affected?

I ma guessing there are certain MEMS sensors that only play a role in managing the combustion engines. Wondering if they will be phased out and what kinds of MEMS sensors will replace them in managing an EV battery.
