AWR6843: What is the difference between dfptest and test folder under SDK mmwavelink package?

Part Number: AWR6843

Hi champion,
I found there are two test folders (dfptest and test) under C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_03_05_00_04\packages\ti\control\mmwavelink. I see they are both test application for mmwave link. What is their difference?

Hi Adam,

I believe this is due to the fact that the DFP can also be downloaded standalone, so it has its own internal tests that are run, but then the SDK package also includes tests to ensure the DFP works in the context of the SDK.
