Does AWR1843 only apply to HPF1 when operating in real mode?

I measured with the following configuration and the minimum detection distance did not match the calculated value, so please tell me the cause as well.

    What object are you trying to detect, what range?

    The snapshot you have provided shows Range = 3.4955m

The measurement range is a 5 cm square aluminum rod standing at a point of 0.3 m.

    Are you trying to detect the cross section of the aluminum rod? Based on our experience this should not be a problem.

    Here is a picture of a measurement we did to detect a wood rod. There was no problems detecting at 0.3m even if it was wood



    As you can see from the Range Profile, if the distance is <0.2m than we will have to take into account the Tx Rx coupling
