AWR6843AOPEVM: The different BSS firmware with same config at 1DFFT output different.

Hi Experts,

The different BSS firmware with same config at 1DFFT output will have about 5dbFs different. As my point, with same config consider this temperature drift, will not lead such big different. I want know the aspects lead this different. The BSS firmwares(6.2.0.6 and 6.2.1.5, one is local studio_02_01_00_00 another is local studio_02_01_01_00) are describe as below:

What' s more the config is default config, and test result is below.

The newer version of the firmware added the power-up calibration for TX gain and RX gain, which can result in your final received signal power difference.

Thanks for you response. Compare with new and old version, I have three questions here, the picture as below.

Q1.Why the old version which without calibration have the higher signal power and the effect of power-up calibration.

The calibration meant to remove the device variation.

And the received power that shows in the figure is not the TX power difference only, it is affected by loop back gain which includes both TX and RX gain.
