DRV425: Compensation coil driver

I notice that the position of Rshunt differs in the DRV425 and DRV425EM datasheets (between DRV1 and COMP1 or DRV2 and COMP2, respectively). Based on the block schematic (Section 7.2 of the datasheet) it shouldn't make a difference, but is this the case?

Hello Greig,

You can place the Rshunt in either location. It does not make a difference. It will be an issue if you connect (DRV1 to COMP2) or (DRV2 to COMP1) as it will create a positive feedback loop and rail your current.
