AWR1843: Known issue for the beam steering lab in the automotive tool box

Hi, there.

The release notes lists the following known issue for the beam steering lab.

  • In USRR/MRR mode only MRR subframe has correct output
  • USRR mode not working
  • MRR mode not working

There are three operating mode s for this lab: USRR/MRR, USRR, and MMR. I am wondering if the release note says that only the USRR/MRR mode is partially working?

Would you please clarify?

    Yes,

    A little background on this lab may help

    The beamsteering lab was developed based on the MRR/USRR lab "labs\lab0007_medium_range_radar" which can be compiled to support 3 modes

    • MRR sub-frames only
    • USRR sub-frames only
    • MRR/USRR alternate sub-frames

    For the beam steering lab "labs\lab0011_mrr_beamsteering" only the "MRR/USRR alternate sub-frames" mode is supported.

    If the lab0011 is compiled for the other modes, the result will not be correct.
