AWR6843: Is it feasible to implement beam steering function on AWR6843? and how ?

I have studied this demo code and the beam steering is static,

my goal is make it to be dynamic within +/- 60 degree,

I tried to move from 1843 and set APIs rlRfSetMiscConfig and rlRfSetPhaseShiftConfig,

also give value 3 to ldoBypassEnable,

but the beam steering cannot work normally,

could you give me further suggestion?

(I really want to know if it is feasible on 6843)

Do you mean the method that you tried on xwr1843 does not work on xwr6843?  Can you give some more details on what you have achieved on xwr1843?

Everything I have done is on AWR6843,
as mentioned,
I moved the APIs "rlRfSetMiscConfig" and "rlRfSetPhaseShiftConfigcode" from 1843 demo code to 6843,
tried to make AWR6843 beam steering to be dynamic within +/1 60 degrees,
but it's not as I expected...
My question is how can I achieve it, could 6843 achieve dynamic beam steering?

Yes, xwr6843 lower level API support dynamic beam steering.   But depends on the overall demo architecture, it maybe not that straight forward to move the implementation from one demo to another demo.  

Do you know which demo on xwr1843 you are based on?  and which demo you tried to make it work on xwr6843?

The demo code of 1843 is base on (lab0011_mrr_beamsteering),
and 6843 is base on (long_range_people_detection)

Based on the feedback I got, the same API should work for xwr1843 as well as xwr6843.   Can you run in the debug mode and see whether those API are called correctly?
