Hi,

I would like to evaluate AWR2243BOOST in CSI mode.

Currently I am using DCA1000 EVM, which seems to support LVDS only.

Can I operate DCA1000 EVM in CSI mode ?

If not, is my only option is to connect AWR2243 directly to ECU supporting CSI (for example NVIDIA Jetson) ?

Is there any reference code for parsing the CSI packets into raw data format in the same structure as received from the DCA1000 FPGA Ethernet?

Hello Ron,

The DCA1000 does not support CSI data capture. You need to a host processor of FPGA that has CSI receiver.

The format of the data on the CSI lanes is mentioned in the AWR2243 datasheet, section 9.4.1

Currently I am working with DCA1000 EVM and using the \mmwave_dfp_02_02_03_01\ti\example\mmWaveLink_SingleChip_NonOS_Example script to control the radar.

If I move to another host with CSI and SPI embedded, how should I control the radar, as this host will not have FTDI.

Hello Ron,

You can reuse most the example code , you just need to port the code to the processor you use to point to its SPI interface , GPIO controls etc. . All the AWR device control APIs etc. remains the same.
