Part Number: AWR2243BOOST

Hello Champs,

There are some difference between  AWR2243BOOST and AWR2243 Checklist for Schematic Review, Layout Review, Bringup/Wakeup (https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sprr419)

Which one is correct?

1. SYNCIN pulldown resistor value:

   AWR2243BOOST use 10K PD
   CHECKlist  use 100K PD

SYNCIN

100K pull down to GND

N10

100K pull down to GND

2.VIN_SRAM    Decoupling Cap

AWR2243BOOST use  0.1uF
CHECKlist  use  0.22uF

VNWA

Connect to 1.2V

P14

0.22 uF decap

VIN_SRAM

Connect to 1.2V

R14

0.22 uF decap

3. use LP87524 for power supply with internal LDO bypass mode,What is the overcurrent for t VOUT_PA R87?

Thanks.

  • Hello Champs,

    Is there any suggestions?

    Thanks.
    Best Regards

  • Hello Shine,

Yes, you are correct that there are some minor differences. In terms of the pullup values, these are not too significant. You can use either 10k or 100k without any issues.

Thank you for pointing out the discrepancy between the capacitor values. This is a typo in the design checklist, please use the 0.1uF value as used in the EVM for VNWA and VIN_SRAM. We will update the design checklist to the correct 0.1uF value.

Can you please clarify what you are looking for regarding #3? When using LDO bypass mode, VOUT_PA should take power from the RF2 net. There is no need to worry about over current, the total 1V current drawn will be a maximum of 2.5A.

    Regards,

    Adrian

  • I  want to use 0R (100mΩ) 0402 footprint resistore  replace 0R 0805. I worry about over current.
