Hi all,

On the following TI youtube video the presenter talks about using a lens to narrow the field of view of the EVM

"A lens has been used to narrow the field of view of the EVM"

Later in the video he mentions that a "narrow field of view antenna" is used.

- Is this lens a physical lens of some sort that is placed in front of the EVM?

- Is the narrow field of view antenna something that is done using software or is it designed on the PCB? Can it be achieved with a IWR6843AOP?

Hi Patrick

The Lens used in the video is an acrylic lens that was used to narrow the beam width for the level sensing demo but I cannot comment on that lens further.

There are various manufacturers of RF/Optical lenses that can be found online. They can also be 3D printed as well.
