I have an application that requires a moving object to distinguish between a person and a hard object within the range of about 500mm to 3m.
The system needs to scan a 180 degree FOV at least a few times a second but the FOV can be made up with more than 1 cascaded sensor.
I am wondering if any of your mmWave devices would be able to be used for this type of application.
I have tried many different technologies but non of them are capable of detecting the difference between a human and a solid object.
The application will also need to measure the distance from the objects as well.
I would be very interested in your response as I have spent a lot of time in development with no satisfactory result. If you think your devices are capable of this I will purchase one of your development systems and evaluate the application.
