Current sensing using Hall effect sensor

Hi Team,

I would like to use hole through HALL Effect sensor (P/N: WCS1800) for my current measurement inside a power distribution box. Is there is any reference design that I can look into to get an idea about Hall sensor based current measurement.

Hello Vineeth,

We have the DRV411 that drives a hall sensor and does the signal conditioning. You would have to get your hall sensor and design the magnetics. Here is a reference design if you need additional current or voltage to drive the compensation windings normally for larger currents.

Thank you for your response. I am looking for a conductor through-hole type sensor, does TI provides that kind of sensor.

Vineeth,

At this time we do not have a module for current sensing. We have the IC to design one.
