[FAQ] TMP114: What is the difference between TMP114A, TMP114B, TMP114NC, etc?

Part Number: TMP114
  • The TMP114 device is available with the variants shown in then table below.  The "A" and "B" variant offers 0.3C accuracy and 2 different I2C addresses.  Due to the small size of the device and low number of pins(4), the device uses a fixed I2C address.  If 2 sensors are required on the same bus, the "A" and "B" variants can be used together as the addresses are different and can be individually addressed accordingly.  The TMP114Nx variants offer 1C accuracy and 3 different I2C addresses.
