IWR6843AOP: Radar Sensor beccame Stuck after 2~3 stress testing with MMWave Studio Setting changed

Hi TI

There's an issue that customer faces during temperature test using their custom board based on IWR6843AOP.

GUI halt problem has been occurred when the mmWave_Demo_Visualizer has been ran for 3~4 hours inside Chamber test equipment.

Once GUI is halt, Runtime Error occurs when the GUI is halted and re-executed after forced termination of the program.

Morever mmWave_Demo_Visulaizer GUI couldn't be run normmally even after Windows Reboot.

Could you please let us know how to handle this case? Is there any method to find the reason of error ?

Hello,

Please help us understand the following:

1. Demo loaded on device + Gui used

2. Configuration used by the device.

Please measure the temperature of the device and report it.

Hi Vaibhav

Let me correct the test condition about chamber room. It's not performed in Chamber room. Just tried to test chip temperature while running high computatiuon load.

Can I get back to you after their experiment environment?

Customer changed the 3 settings in mmWave Demo Config below.

If three values are changed, MMWave demo has been stuck after 2~3 hours stress testing

If the setting is not changed, issue is not reproducible.

This isn't enough information to determine cause of the error. Can you post the full contents from the Console Messages pane?

Let me ask Customer to provide full log from console message panel.

However the posted above is the reproducible step.

There're no further data since mmWave GUI also freezed when the problem occurred.

They could capture the snapshot without full log.

PC Reboot is required to manage the mmWavbe GUI
