In TI EVM board schematic :PROC073D(001_IWR)_Sch.

IC number U13 : TS3A5018RSVR for SPI and UART switch .

SOP control SW S1.4 can pull hi to select SPI . pull low to select UART .

Our project use SPI .so S1.4 pull hi to select SPI . but download bin is error .

When pull low to select UART, download is success. then S1.4 switch to hi.

My question is can fixed S1.4 in hi mode and download are success ?

We use ESP32-WROVWE module + IWR6843 with SPI interface to design our project.

ESP32 is SPI master. and IWR6843 is SPI slave . ESP32 control RADAR sensor.

So we need fixed SOP control s1.4 in off ("hi" mode) to select SPI.

But ,when s1.4 mode in HI, download bin procedure is error. s1.4 must be set in "low" mode download can success.

So I want to know if s1.4 is set in Hi. We must modify what settings in the software code.

During the power up period ESP32-WROVWE module should not be driving the any IOs of the mmWave sensor especially when VIO supply is not present to the sensor. After the the bootup of the device you could connect other modules.
