IWR6843AOPEVM: Reading output from multiple devices into one PC

Hello,

Is it possible to simultaneously read output point cloud data from multiple mmwave devices into one PC? For example, if I had four IWR6843AOPEVM devices that were connected to the same PC via USB, would each device still maintain its own COM port so that I could then read data from each port simultaneously? I don't currently have the physical devices to test yet, so I'm unable to just plug multiple devices in and try is myself.

Hi Mitch,

Yes, this is certainly possible. This is done our Robotics Safety Bubble demo's. In order to accomplish this, you will typically need to modify a visualizer in order to support the reading of 4 devices, and then would basically open 4 serial streams to the various com ports.
