IWR6843AOP: Advance Frame Config

Part Number: IWR6843AOP

I would like to ask about the Advance Frame Config about IWR6843AOP. Now I want to use the Advance Frame Config. The first sub-frame has 1 Chirp and the second sub-frame has 64 Chirps. Is this setting correct?

Hello User,

There is an example on using the 'advanced frame configuration' in the mmWave SDK package. In the profiles folder, there is a profile that uses the advanced frame configuration (\mmwave_sdk_03_05_00_04\packages\ti\demo\xwr68xx\mmw\profiles\profile_advanced_subframe.cfg).

You can try that out to understand what 'advanced frame configuration' is capable of.

In addition to that, Section 11.1 of the following user guide also provides some theoretical explanation with a few examples to demonstrate the Advance Frame Configuration : https://software-dl.ti.com/ra-processors/esd/MMWAVE-DFP-2G/02_02_03_01/exports/mmwave_dfp_user_guide.pdf
