Hi team,

What's the internal temperature sensor output range in AWR1843? Customer wants to know if it can get correct number of temperature after the Tj higher than 125 degree.

    Hi,

    Yes, the temperature sensor can be used at temperatures higher than 125 degrees.

    What type of range beyond Tj does the customer need to use the temperature sensor for?

    Hi Cesar,

    During the high temperature test, customer wants to read out the real time Tj value from the die. But customer feedback that the temperature value read out from the RSS will be 125 even the high temperature is apply.

    Did you hear this kind of issue before?

    Hello Wesley,

    The temp sensors have an accuracy of +-7 deg. This accuracy holds for a temperature range of -40C to +140C. So its possible that , for example , with 130 deg temperature the temp sensor reads 125deg (5 deg error). 

    Additionally there is an errata ANA#27 regarding the dig temp sensor having a larger error. Is the error they are seeing in dig temp sensor or even in TX/RX temp sensors?
