Hello

As the standard way to program the Flash connected to device - please see :

Device Collateral Page --> mmWave xWR1xxx/xWR6xxx Bootloader Flow ( Route for flash is mentioned)

For anything outside of this users' may want to implement their own version of Secondary Bootloader application.

Yes this is possible, take a look at the CAN SBL demo located in the mmWave Automotive Toolbox.
