AWR1642: How much do external oscillators affect AWR radar performance?

I'm looking into building a design with the AWR1642 and I can't exactly find any information about using sub 1 ppm oscillators to improve radar performance. I know for GPS receivers, if you use a better clock, you can get better positional data, but I'm not as familiar with radar design, so I do not know if the same principle would carry over for this kind of design. Is there any  experiments TI has done with their radars to indicate any better performance?
