LDCTOUCHCOMCOILEVM: Does it include metal plate in PCB?

Can I use LDCTOUCHCOMCOILEVM by itself? Or do I have to combine metal plate? I want to make sure if LDCTOUCHCOMCOILEVM includes metal plate in PCB.

Hello,

The LDCTOUCHCOMCOILEVM is only the sensor portion that you circled in red. The bottom side does have a very thin spacer layer around the coils but there is no metal target included.
