OPT3001-Q1: Difference between OPT3001DNPRQ1 and OPT3001IDNPRQ1

Part Number: OPT3001-Q1

Hi team

Could you help check if there other difference between OPT3001DNPRQ1 and OPT3001IDNPRQ1 in addition to temperature range? Thank you.

  • Hi,

These devices are auto qualified to different grades. up to 85C is grade 3. Up to 105C is grade 2. Otherwise device performance is similar.

    Best,

    Alex

  • Hi Alex

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

Considering the special supply condition this year, the customer has decided to input these two P/N for their new project and wants to know whether they could populate any device on their board. This is why I want to know if there is other difference between these two devices in addition to temperature range.

Could you help double check the spec for these two devices are "similar" or "same"?

  • Hi Shawn,

The difference between grade 2 and 3 is laid out in the datasheet. You see both devices share the same datasheet and any where there is a difference it mentions specifically grade 2 and grade 3. Only difference in the spec table is the temp rating. Similarly for plots only difference is showing data for the higher temp. Besides the temp range performance is the same.

    Best,

    Alex
