What is located at address offset 0x1A in the TMP512/TMP513 register map?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP513, TMP512

Datasheet for TMP513 shows register map that has MFG ID at register offset 0x1E or 0xFE and Device ID at 0x1F or 0xFF.  However in the main_TMP513.vi Labview file that comes with the EVM, it looks like it is accessing the device ID at 0x1A.  When reading from 0x1A on a TMP512 I get a valid ID of 22FF, but when reading 0x1A on a TMP513 I get a valid 23FF, but reading from 0x1F I get something different.

Is 0x1A the right address for device ID or is it 0x1F as shown in the datasheet.

Thanks in advance.

  • Manufacturer ID at pointer “XXX1 1110”

Device ID at pointer          “XXX1 1111”

So both “1F” and “FF” are valid pointers for the device ID register, but “1A” is not.  The labview software will be changed accordingly.

    Best regards,
