IWR1843: VPP pin

Hello!!

Using the IWR1843 device, I saw that in the Evaluation Board, 1,7V power source is connected to VPP Pin (ball L13) with a 0.1uF capacitor... Can anyone explain me what is that for? I have not seen any information regarding VPP pin in any datasheet, the device one or the evaluation board.

Ok thanks!! In some of those threads I have seen that it's reserved for "future use of the fuse chain" but it needs to be implemented in the silicon. Can I ask if this SoC has this functionality implemented? If I route the 1,7V signal to the VPP pin, could I use that funcionality with IWR1843?

Hello Alberto,

This pin is only required in case of a secure device for enabling the user to burn his own key for encryption. I believe you have a GP or a General purpose device and hence this is not applicable.
