Dear Engineer,

I use IWR1443BOOST+DCA1000EVM+ MMWave Studio2.1.1.0 to observe the normal fast vibration target, and I want to get the change of the vibration amplitude of the target with time through the phase change of IF signal.

Chirp is configured with 512 samples and 29.982 slope. May I ask whether the higher the value of sample rate is, the better the effect will be?

HI, there:

The phase change is usually captured from chirp to chirp. You may want to keep the chirp as short as possible to track the fast phase change. You may not need so many ADC samples.

HI zigang,

Do you mean that the number of ADC samples can be reduced to 256 or 128 instead of 512 when capturing phase changes from chirp to CHIRP?

In addition, I also want to ask how the sampling rate and slope size affect the capture phase change?

HI, Kelong:

I assume the phase change is related to the time interval from one chirp to the other. And the chirp interval = idle Time + ADC start time + ADC sample time.

You need to go through the e2e thread I sent early to understand how all the parameter affects the system parameters. There is no short cut.
