IWR1642BOOST: mmWave Demo Visualizer Serial Port Configuration NOT WORK

Hi,

I am using mmWave Demo Visualizer for OOB demo (SDK 3.5).

However, when I open the mmWave Demo Visualizer, the Serial Port Configuration always showed empty like below.

I have tried to uninstall and installed TICloudAgent. It didn't help. I was using Chrome.

Any suggestions?

Maybe downloading and installing a local mmWave_Demo_Visualizer instead of using online version could help.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for reply! Yes, I also did that. However, the installer stopped in the half-way and showed me another error.

I was not able to install the offline software either.

In the Device Manager, I can see the ports were recognized by the computer.

This error was due to that I clicked the *.exe installer file inside the download folder mmWave_Demo_Visualizer_3.5.0_xxxx.

Drag the installer file to somewhere else and install it.
