My customer has the questions as follow:

I need to make my own software to send commands to read temperature/humidity data instead of using Sensing Solutions GUI.
Could you provide any relevant code or reference material?

Hi Yuki,

Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.

Once you download and install the Sensing Solutions GUI you can find the firmware source code for all of the supported EVMs. To find the firmware source code for the HDC1010EVM, navigate to the following folder:

C:\ti\Sensing Solutions EVM GUI-1.10.0\EVM Firmware\HDC10x0_EVM_Firmware_source\

My apologies, in version 1.10.0 of the Sensing Solutions GUI, the HDC1010 source firmware has been moved to the Older Revs folder. Please refer to the updated path:

C:\ti\Sensing Solutions EVM GUI-1.10.0\EVM Firmware\Older Revs\HDC10x0_EVM_Firmware_source

Insteading of HDC1010 firmware source code,
do you have Windows side samples?

I need to connect the HDC1010EVM to my windows PC by USB:
・ obtain temperature
・ obtain humidity
・ read / write the register value of HDC1010

(I think that I would send a command as a serial port on a Windows PC.)

Thanks so much for your kindly reply.

The examples you provided is about sending I2C commands to HDC1010.
It's different from my problem.

I connect HDC1010EVM to PC USB.
From the device manager, "COM3" is assigned to the virtual serialport of USB.
What command (string) should be sent to COM3 to achieve the following functions?
・ obtain temperature
・ obtain humidity
・ read / write the register value of HDC1010

Please check it again for me.
