AWR1843: CRC calculation, question about CRC init value

Dear TI Team,

in AWR1843's CRC module  for e.g. 16 bit CRC checksum the polynomial 0x1021 and crc init value 0xFFFF is used.

In our implementation a different crc init value must be used. Is it possible to change the crc init value from 0xFFFF e.g. to 0x1010? Or is 0xFFFF a fixed value and 

can not be changed?
