MMWCAS-RF-EVM: The surface is dirty and heavily oxidized

Part Number: MMWCAS-RF-EVM

We received MMWCAS-RF-EVM last week, but the physical surface is dirty and seriously oxidized with a new D/C as attached pictures showing.

So far we have't tested it because we're worried that the circuit of the oxidized board will not work properly, please help to evaluate whether this product can be used, and we do need a new product to be replaced.

    Hi,

    Some oxidation is expected as described in the EVM User Guide.

    This should not affect the performance. Please use the board.

    Hi

    Our engineer initially judged that this seriously oxidized board will affect the performance of the board, but it is hard to say how much. On the one hand, there is rust on the external circuit of the RF chip, and there are signs of broken lines, on the other hand, there are obvious fingerprint marks on the board, we are worried that the board can not be used normally and continuously, so please replace a new one for us. Also we will arrange to ship back this risky board to you.

    You can return the board. You would need to work with the return process from the place where you purchased the board
