There are some different on antenna design in evaluation board PROC075 Rev A and Rev B.

1. May I know if there are any performance difference?

2. Which design is good for people counting application?

3. Why the antenna design is updated start from Rev B ?

Yes, the ODS is designed for people counting. The antenna provides a wide field of view that is designed for over head people detection, hence the name Overhead Detection Sensor (ODS).

Hello Tom,

There is no change in the antenna design, There was small issue in the PCB manufacturing process.

Please refer to this E2E thread for the Antenna geometry.

Revision changes in the boards are documented in the revision history in the zip package

Between rev A and B connector orientation is fixed so that incorrect plugging of antenna board on the mmWaveICBOOST board could be averted. So far there is no changes in the antenna configuration or design since ODS board has been introduced.
